A warrant was issued for Memphis rapper Yo Gotti’s arrest on Saturday evening, stemming from a nightclub altercation leaving 5 people wounded Thanksgiving weekend. Yo Gotti, whose real name is Mario Mims, started rapping in 1996 in Memphis, Tennessee and honed his street life story telling, southern style over a series of independently released albums, including 2000’s From Da Dope Game 2 Da Rap Game, 2003’s Life and 2006’s Back 2 da Basics.
